Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers within a month of the upload of her first video she was featured in a gaming video by PewDiePie. Taylor stopped working in her Youtube channel at two months. Around 100,000 users. The main reason was technical difficulties and she was overwhelmed. She began producing videos after the break of one month. It included the incredibly famous ASMR Ten Triggers To Help You sleep. (35,000,000 views as of August 2022). ASMR 20, Triggers for Sleeping, first appeared on YouTube in July of 2017 and was seen by 38 million viewers. In August 2017, Shane Dawson interviewed her and she soon reached 1 million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK reported that in February 2019 she earned $1,000 per day through ads on her YouTube channel.

Helfer is a native of rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis and Elaine Helfer. The two were born in the town of Donalda, Alberta Canada. Her parents are Dennis and Elaine Helfer. She was a graduate of Stettin's William E. Hay Composite High School. With her sisters Trena Tammy Tara and Tammy Tara, she lived in the grain farm of their family. Helfer was found at the age of 17 by a scout for a modeling agency when she was waiting in line at the movie theater.
