Elizabeth Reaser is an American TV, film and theater actor who is best known for her performances in movies like The Twilight Saga and series such as Greys Anatomy and True Detective. They wanted to know if she could perform sword fighting, so the next day sent her footage of sword fight. Jessica was able to read the script, and was aware that the character would need the training for weapons. Her first video was recorded training session with a professional after having read the script. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team were surprised with how she performed in the initial lesson. Her prior films were located in Australia. Outpost Outpost was her first major part in the United States. Jessica's expertise in mixed martial arts, horse riding and weaponry and her capability to perform stunts, allow her to be an imposing female role. She has a background in boxing as well as a muay Thai as well as a mixed martial arts artist. Jake Stormoen was working on his Season 4 set when he encountered a dog that was wandering around. This dog turned out to belong to an entire litter of pups, which had taken shelter in the set. Jessica fostered the two puppies.
